To avoid confusion and misunderstandings, the booking rules are stated below.
All time windows below are counted from the arrival date, which means the first day of the booking. If you have multiple bookings, each booking is treated separately.
Cancellation or rescheduling of a booking must be done by contacting Nordic Discovery's customer support. If you have booked through a third party, you must contact the third party to cancel or reschedule your booking. Nordic Discovery is not responsible for cancellations or rescheduling made through a third party.
Rescheduling rules
Changing date is possible 30 days before the first day of the booking without charges.
Changing date is possible between 29 and 15 days before the first day of the booking to the charge of 5% of the total booking.
Changing date is possible between 14 and 7 days before the first day of the booking to the charge of 10% of the total booking.
Changing date is possible between 6 and 3 days before the first day of the booking to the charge of 15% of the total booking.
Cancellation policy
A cancellation fee of 10% will be charged if the booking is cancelled between 365 and 15 days before the first day of the booking.
A cancellation fee of 50% will be charged if the booking is cancelled between 14 and 8 days before the first day of the booking.
A cancellation fee of 100% is charged if the booking is cancelled 7 days or less before the first day of the booking.
Cancellation insurance through Refundable
Enhanced Refund Terms can be selected at checkout for an additional 8% of the total booking value.
If you cannot attend your booking, you may apply for a refund according to the insurance company's terms and conditions. If insurance is selected and you cancel, all matters are handled between you and the insurance company. Nordic Discovery is not part of that process, and a booking already cancelled by Nordic Discovery cannot be refunded according to Refundable's terms. If insurance is selected, Nordic Discovery's rescheduling rules and cancellation policy no longer apply. The insurance applies to cancellation of the whole booking, not parts of a booking.
Apply for a refund through Refundable Rental Policy
By renting equipment from Nordic Discovery, you agree to the following terms:
Responsibility
The renter is fully responsible for all rented equipment during the rental period.
All equipment must be returned on time, in the same condition as received, normal wear excepted.
Equipment Check
The renter must check that all equipment listed in the rental contract is received at handover.
Any missing or damaged items must be reported immediately.
Equipment not reported missing at the start is considered received.
Loss and Damage
The renter is liable for loss, theft, or damage to the equipment.
Repair or replacement costs will be charged accordingly.
Use of Equipment
Equipment must be used in a safe and proper manner.
The renter is responsible for following local laws and safety guidelines.
Return Conditions
Equipment must be cleaned and returned properly packed.
Late returns may result in additional charges.
Liability
Nordic Discovery is not responsible for personal injury, accidents, or damage caused during the use of rented equipment.
Unused Equipment
Not utilized equipment or bookings do not qualify for any refund or discount.
