Canoe Transport
Between Lake Norra Bredsjön and Lake Stora Korslången, there is a 50-meter stretch without a water connection. Today, there is a land transport path for canoes and kayaks along the paddling route. In the past, this was a transshipment point for iron ore. The iron ore came from the mines in Grängesberg and was transported via the lakes to the smelters at Kloten and Bredsjö. Remnants of a railway track, on which wagons were pulled between the two lakes, still exist.
Trätsön Wind Shelter
This windshelter is located on the island Trätsön in the middle of Stora Korslången. The shelter has a fireplace in front of it and a area suitable for tents just a few meters away.

Korslångsgård Wind Shelter
Korslångsgårds wind shelter is nicely located just before you get out into the big kosrlången. There is a fireplace and space to pitch a tent.
Morfarsåker Wind Shelter
Morfarsåkers wind shelter is nicely located just before you get out into the big korslången. There are two fireplaces and plenty of room to pitch a tent.
Canoe Transport
At Korslångssmedja there is short land transport of 75 meters to get to the slightly higher lake Korslången. Make sure to not drag the canoes, we reccomend most groups to take at least one wagon (included in canoe rental) with them on the canoe trip.

Korslångssmedia
The wind shelter at Korslångssmedja is beautifully situated next to the rapids that flow out after the dam separating Stora Korslången and Långvattnet. Here you will find a fireplace, dry toilet, and a larger wind shelter with plenty of space.

Storberget Viewing Point
The Storberget viewing point is a great place to take a break and enjoy the view over the lake. The cliffs here are about 15 meters high and go straight down to the water. The water is not very deep here, so cliff jumping or deep water soloing is unfortunately not recommended. The place is located on the North Canoe Trail, about 1 km north of Storbergsudden.

Storbergsudden Wind Shelter
The wind shelter is located next to the water and has a fireplace. The wind shelter is also located next to a forest road which means a greater likelihood of encountering people or free campers in a caravan. A good backup if it is occupied is to pitch the tent on the peninsula next to it in a westerly direction.
Storbergsudden Campfire
This is a small half island with a simple campfire. Great backup place if the windshelter at Storbergsudden is full. Make sure to not make a fire if there is a active fire ban.

Back Erkers Campfire
This is small island with a simple campfire and beautiful views over the lake. The place is verry close to the start of the North Canoe Trail and is a good place to stop for lunch. Make sure to not make a fire if there is a active fire ban.
